This is the official website of the Pakistan chapter of Mensa. In June 2007 Mensa Pakistan has been awarded the Provisional National Mensa status by Mensa International.
Mensa provides a forum for intellectual exchange for people with high IQ. Its activities include exchange of ideas by lectures, discussions, journals, special- interest groups, and local, regional, national, and international gatherings; the investigations of members’ opinions and attitudes; and assistance to researchers, inside and outside Mensa, in projects dealing with intelligence or Mensa.”
Greetings to Mensa-Pakistan, from the Problem-Solvers SIG!
It’s super to be able to put in the first comment!
The quote in “Musing #1″ is by Heinlein (Robert Heinlein, the science fiction writer), but I haven’t been able to find my copy of it, yet, to give you the full source. Nice to see it, on your website!
You are the only Arab/Islamic country in Mensa, right now, so I’m writing to you, instead of to Palestine, as I had hoped to do.
Is there anyone there who could help me do Islamic, on my computer and using my keyboard?
Thanks very much for any help you can give,
shukran,
Pat

Greetings to Mensa-Pakistan, from the Problem-Solvers SIG!
I will try to contact the Gadgets SIG directly.
My goal, now, is to find some way to play the mini-chip of the Russian language that I purchased several years ago, from Pimsleur.
My longer-term goal is to learn to read Arabic.
I know this is a basic question, but does Arabic have an alphabet? If so, how could I get a copy? I can speak some Arabic, from Pimsleur, but, with e-mail, now I would like to learn to read and write it.
Thanks very much for any help you can give,
shukran,
Pat
